This Privacy Statement applies to ACIC Fine Chemicals Inc. (“ACIC”).
At ACIC we are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, and support a general policy of openness about how we collect, use and disclose personal information relating to our customers.

For the purpose of this Privacy Statement, “personal information” means information about an identifiable individual, but does not include the name, title or business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization.

What Personal Information We Collect

ACIC collects personal information that you voluntarily provide to us through telephone or e-mail contact, product orders or, if you consent, contact information at pharmaceutical conferences when you visit the ACIC booth. On occasion, ACIC may purchase attendance lists at conferences, in which case we ask the conference organizer to disclose only the information concerning individuals who have not opted out from such disclosure by the organizer.

ACIC may collect the following personal information about its customers or potential customers:

  • Contact information (such as name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number)
  • Medical specialty of physicians
  • Order history, consisting of information about your order or past purchases
  • Billing information such as credit card number/expiration date
  • Medical License Numbers when required by law
  • How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Develop and maintain our relationship with you and communicate with you
  • Bill you for our products and services
  • Unless you ask us not to, advise you about new products, services, and health care news that may be of interest to you
  • Provide you with interactive communication on our website

ACIC may share personal information with service providers, such as fulfillment houses engaged to assist us in carrying out communication, or for one or more of the purposes described above. These service providers are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than to provide this assistance, are required to protect personal information disclosed by Methapharm and to comply with the general privacy principles described in this Privacy Statement.

When We Disclose Personal Information

We will not sell, license, trade, or rent your personal information to or with others without your consent.

ACIC reserves the right to disclose personal information to a third party if a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order legally requires or authorizes us to do so.
ACIC also reserves the right to disclose and/or transfer personal information to a third party in the event of a proposed or actual purchase, sale, lease, merger, amalgamation or any other type of acquisition, disposal or financing of all or any portion of ACIC or of any of the business or assets or shares of ACIC or a division thereof in order for you to continue to receive the same products and services from the third party.

Use or Disclosure for Marketing Purposes

If you have not opted out of receiving marketing materials, we may also use personal information to promote and market additional goods, services and special offers from ACIC Fine Chemicals including by means of direct marketing.

Cookies

ACIC’s website may offer links to other third party websites. ACIC retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws, and your consent to such purposes(s) remains valid after termination of our relationship with you.

ACIC reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement at anytime without notice. The Privacy Statement provided from time to time or posted via ACIC’s website shall be deemed to be the Privacy Statement then in effect.
